General Session
World Humor organization presents Mental Floss:
Communication, Innovation and Cooperation
Creativity is a necessary part of our lives, from taking off in a spaceship on a playground, to finding yet another use for duct tape.  When our creative channels are blocked, there's no better way to release the flow than by a little Mental Flossing. This workshop builds confidence in thinking outside the universe, Expect to surprise yourself!

Keynote Speaker

John Brackney of The South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber has been working with an initiative in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Mr Brackney will speak on the topic and how teachers can tie in to the local chambers for resources.

Poster Session
This year instead of a lesson swap we thought we'd try a poster session where it's more like a science fair.  You create a display of what you think would be interesting that's going on in your classes or tech ed relative life.  Then you stand there and explain or hand out fliers, cards, lesson plans, etc.  If you do this CTEA will pay the first ten to sign up $50 through a grant from CCCOES.
